Stark State College's accounting data analytics certificate provides foundational training in accounting principles, computerized accounting systems, and data analysis skills needed for today’s business environment. Designed to be completed in about one year and available online or on campus, the certificate prepares students for entry-level accounting roles while fully stacking toward Stark State’s associate degree in accounting.

Program Learning Outcomes
This program is designed to prepare students to demonstrate the following learning outcomes:
- Prepare and analyze the various types of financial information essential for internal and external recordkeeping, reporting and decision making.
- Interpret and apply laws and regulations for the purpose of various types of tax reporting, compliance and planning.
- Identify and implement sound and ethical internal accounting controls to ensure safeguarding of an entity's assets, preparation and reporting of reliable financial information, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations including those affecting professional liability.
- Apply appropriate mathematical concepts to business decisions.
