Program Learning Outcomes
This program is designed to prepare students to demonstrate the following learning outcomes:
- Identify the types of AI technologies that exist such as Machine Learning, Neural Networks, Computer Vision, and Natural Language Processing and describe how they are applied to industry.
- Discuss challenges surrounding AI including ethics, bias, regulations, and professional expectations.
- Demonstrate effective problem-solving and critical thinking skills by analyzing requirements, designing solutions, and implementing software.
- Demonstrate proficiency writing, modifying, compiling, debugging, and executing Python programs.
- Design and implement relational databases by applying normalization principles, defining relationships among tables, and creating entity-relationship diagrams.
- Demonstrate proficiency using structured query language to define new database objects and manage and manipulate data within a database.
- Create SQL programming constructs such as views, stored procedures, user-defined functions and indexes.
