Program Learning Outcomes
This program is designed to prepare students to demonstrate the following learning outcomes:
- Students will be able to diagnose, service, and repair automotive and electrified vehicle systems using appropriate tools, equipment, and manufacturer service information.
- Students will be able to analyze and troubleshoot automotive electrical and electronic circuits, including advanced vehicle control systems, using industry-standard diagnostic procedures and equipment.
- Students will be able to demonstrate safe work practices when servicing high-voltage and electrified vehicle systems, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to industry safety standards.
- Students will be able to interpret and apply data from computerized vehicle control systems to accurately diagnose faults and verify repairs in both conventional and electrified vehicles.
