Program Learning Outcomes

This program is designed to prepare students to demonstrate the following learning outcomes:

  • Proficiency of equipment using theory, simulation and associated laboratory trainers and equipment.

  • Demonstrate the safe use of meters and instruments commonly utilized in HVAC.

  • Understand the EPA (Section 608) rules and regulations pertaining to refrigerant handling and recovery.

  • Demonstrate appropriate utilization of meters, gages and measuring instruments
