Stark State College’s phlebotomy technician certificate program prepares students for an essential role in healthcare by training them to safely collect blood samples for clinical laboratory testing and patient care. The program develops both technical and interpersonal skills, including proper blood collection techniques, patient interaction, documentation, critical thinking, and professionalism.
